Ella is about to leave the nest

Ella is about the leave the nest.. she has been perching on the edge all morning.

Baby Eli was quite uncomfortable in the nest and was ready to spread his wings... even if they were not feathered yet! He is so funny looking! Baby Ella is still in the nest, tonight she sleeps alone, without mommy...

Cardinal Nest 2010

Beginning April 22, 2010 we noticed a female cardinal creating a nest in our rose bush, just outside our window seat of the living room. Perfectly protected and unseen from the yard, but a perfect view for us! We set up a web cam that runs continuously on www.ustream.tv/channel/cardinal-cam.
