Merry Christmas
Wow! Is everyone else as tired as I am? Christmas is a whirlwind! I had family in town all week and some drop in company throughout the season. At least my house is some-what clean and now I can relax a bit. I started by joining some dear friends for coffee at a local coffee shop on the square in Newnan today. Even though the service left much to be desired, the company was great! Jeanna and Margo always have a way of making lemons into lemonade when we are together. There is something special about spending that quite time with friends without our children. I know most of you don't know this about me, but I am a homeschool mom and as rewarding as it is to teach your children and see them discover new things everyday it feels great to get out and be with other homeschool moms that need some encouragement just like me. It was rejuvenating and has sparked my creative juices! We went next door to the quilting shop and I realized that I don't have time for another hobby...but I did realize that it was a great place to get some color combination ideas and it really stimulates your creative side. One day I will take it up and learn the art of quilting, but for now I will wander in for inspiration! I also can't wait to use the coffee shop wall in scrapbook page! Faux brick and broken plaster sounds like a great backdrop to a sizzling page! I challenge you to look for inspiration everywhere that you go and to take some time to get a page or so done before the new year begins.

Looking ahead.
It is amazing to me that we are almost finished with another year. As I think about it I wonder what next year has in store. I have been blessed with family, friends, health and so far surviving the holidays! I think about what I want to change about myself, my house, my business in the upcoming year and realize that I have a lot of thinking to do. I have been cleaning like a mad person this week getting ready for company, and I have found some areas in my life that need to be ORGANIZED! I love that word... my family isn't a big help with that department though. Over the next week or so I will be sharing my Organizational tips with you!I am about to make over my computer area and my Scrapbook room! Look out.. I see a big mess in my future. If anyone has any great tips to share, please post them here! I am so ready to start fresh!
